I can quote books that I have read in high
school school but I can't quote anything from this book. It was very
generic information that isn't unique to the book. That is ironic
because the PURPLE COW is centered around being uniques. This book is
everything but unique or special. It drags on even though it is very
short.

Re: Education and Public Schools in America – What The US Can Learn From India

Great to hear from someone else who is a product of Indian education and recalls it with fondness and nostalgia! The school mentioned here is I suppose KV Gillnagar. The teacher's made the biggest difference in our lives as students. Even teacher's day was celebrated in a manner beyond imagination. All five us (siblings) studied there. Every year end when it was time to have the year end celebrations, the teacher's used to joke to my proud parents that they have to bring a sack to collect all our prizes. I remember collecting more than 15 prizes in ayear on that annual day celebration, even including hand writing competition.
